Flash opens the wrong panel: An automated fix
Since we released gProject, we receive about 2 emails each month reporting that opening the panel causes a different panel to open. The solution is simple, although a little hard to explain, especially to people who have no idea where the flash configuration folder is. Internally, we use a nifty little extension that automatically fixes the issue for you, for whatever version of flash you run it in.
Camera Interaction In Flash Goes Public (w/video)!
For the next week, in seven major US cities, you can play with a mobile interactive installation using cameras for input, and built entirely in Flash and AS3. Includes schedule and a video of the system in action.
Library, Timeline and Multi-File Searches in Flash
We built gSearch to address three areas of searching that we felt were lacking (or completely missing) in the Flash IDE: Searching the library, searching timelines, and performing multi-file searches. This panel is super handy for both coders and designers, particularly if you ever inherit other people’s FLAs, or have to revisit old projects.
